Ingredients (Makes 6 flatbreads)
For the dough:
1 cup plain yogurt (Greek or regular)
1 cup all-purpose flour (plus a little more for kneading)
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
For the garlic butter:
3 tbsp butter, melted
2–3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Pinch of salt
⏱️ Instructions
- Make the dough
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add yogurt and stir until a soft dough forms.
Knead lightly for 1 minute until smooth.
- Divide & shape
Cut the dough into 6 equal pieces.
Roll each piece into a thin circle or oval (about ⅛–¼ inch thick).
- Cook the flatbreads
Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
Cook each flatbread for 1–2 minutes per side, until bubbly and golden char marks appear.
- Garlic butter
Mix melted butter with garlic, parsley, and a pinch of salt.
Brush generously over the hot flatbreads.
- Serve warm
