The Fastest Puff Pastry Appetizer

Ingredients:

1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)

1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or mix)

1 cup diced ham (or turkey/chicken)

2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)

1 egg (for brushing)

Optional add-ins: garlic butter, cream cheese spread, oregano

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pastry

Roll out the puff pastry sheet on baking paper.

Spread a thin layer of egg wash or garlic butter.

  1. Add Filling

Sprinkle evenly with shredded cheese.

Add diced ham.

Sprinkle parsley on top.

  1. Roll It Up

Roll the pastry tightly into a log (like a cinnamon roll).

  1. Slice

Cut the log into strips about 1.5–2 cm thick.

  1. Twist

Take each piece, gently twist from both ends to reveal filling.

  1. Bake

Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Brush tops with egg wash.

Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 15–20 minutes until golden and crispy.
