Sliced Baked Potatoes

Ingredients

4 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet work well)

3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp paprika (optional, for color)

2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

1 tbsp chopped parsley or chives (for garnish)

🔪 Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare Potatoes
    Wash and scrub the potatoes well. Slice them into ¼-inch (0.6 cm) thick rounds — try to keep them even so they bake uniformly.
  3. Seasoning Mix
    In a large bowl, combine olive oil (or butter), minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Toss the potato slices in this mixture until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange on Tray
    Place the slices slightly overlapping on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in a greased baking dish (as shown in your image).
  5. Bake
    Bake for 30–40 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until golden brown and crisp on the edges.
  6. Finish & Serve
    Sprinkle with grated Parmesan and chopped parsley. Serve hot as a side dish or snack!

🍽️ Serving Ideas

Pair with sour cream or garlic aioli.

Add shredded cheese during the last 5 minutes for extra indulgence.

Try adding rosemary or thyme for a fragrant twist.
