Natural Detox & Anti-Inflammatory Oil Folk Remedy

Ingredients:

1 cup of extra virgin olive oil (or sesame oil)

1 tablespoon of black peppercorns

1 tablespoon of turmeric powder (or a few slices of fresh turmeric root)

1 teaspoon of grated ginger (optional)

2–3 cloves of garlic (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Warm the olive oil gently in a saucepan (do not boil).
  2. Add the black pepper, turmeric, and any optional ingredients.
  3. Let the mixture infuse on low heat for about 10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and allow it to cool.
  5. Strain the oil and store it in a glass bottle.

How it’s used (traditional use):

A teaspoon in warm water or herbal tea, once a day.

Can also be massaged on sore joints or muscles.
