Ingredients
500 g (1 lb) chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
3 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp butter
Juice and zest of 1 lemon
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for topping)
- Prepare the chicken:
Pat chicken pieces dry with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili flakes. - Cook:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces in a single layer and cook until golden brown on all sides (about 5–7 minutes). - Add flavor:
Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic; stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the lemon juice and zest; toss to coat the chicken evenly. - Caramelize:
Continue cooking for 2–3 more minutes until the sauce slightly thickens and the chicken is coated with the lemon-garlic glaze. - Garnish & Serve:
Sprinkle fresh parsley and grated Parmesan on top before serving.
