Ingredients
For the Keto Dough (Fathead Dough)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp cream cheese
1 1/2 cups almond flour
1 large egg
1/2 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
For the Chili Cheese Filling
1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 cup sugar-free tomato sauce
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Egg Wash
1 egg, beaten
👩🍳 Instructions
- Make the Chili Filling
- In a skillet, brown the beef with onions and garlic.
- Drain excess fat.
- Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, and tomato sauce.
- Simmer 5–7 minutes until thick.
- Stir in cheddar cheese and let cool.
- Make the Keto Dough
- In a microwave bowl, melt mozzarella + cream cheese (about 1 minute, stir halfway).
- Add almond flour, egg, baking powder, and salt.
- Mix until a smooth dough forms.
- Knead lightly.
- Roll the dough between 2 parchment papers to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Shape & Fill
- Cut circles (4–5 inches wide) using a bowl or cutter.
- Place spoonful of chili mixture into the center.
- Fold the dough over to form a half-moon shape.
- Seal edges with a fork.
- Brush with egg wash.
- Bake
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–18 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
⭐ Tips
Add diced jalapeños for heat.
Store in fridge up to 4 days or freeze up to 2 months.
Reheat in air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes.
