Famous Red Lobster Shrimp Scampi

Famous Red Lobster Shrimp Scampi
Tangy, garlicky, and just the right amount of creamy and spicy — this Shrimp Scampi is my go-to recipe when I want to spoil myself or my family. The rich, flavorful broth is absolutely irresistible with crusty bread for dipping, but you can also serve it over pasta for a heartier dish.

Ingredients
1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon pure olive oil
2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped
1 1/2 cups white wine (Chardonnay works well)
Juice of 1/2 fresh lemon
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 cup softened butter
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
Add shrimp and cook until just pink and no longer translucent (about 2–3 minutes). Remove shrimp and set aside.
Add garlic to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently. Do not let garlic brown.
Pour in white wine and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer and let reduce by half.
Stir in Italian seasoning and reduce heat to low.
Add softened butter to the skillet and stir until melted and incorporated. Avoid overheating to prevent separation.
Return shrimp to the skillet and toss in the sauce until heated through.
Garnish with parsley, salt, and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with crusty homemade bread for dipping in the delicious scampi broth.
Pair with linguine or angel hair pasta for a more filling meal.
Add a crisp side salad or steamed vegetables for a complete dinner.
