Easy Air Fryer Egg On A Toast

Ingredients

2 slices of bread

2 eggs

2–3 tbsp shredded cheese (optional)

1 tbsp butter or mayo

Salt & pepper

Optional: garlic powder, oregano, paprika

Instructions

  1. Prep the toast:
    Spread a thin layer of butter or mayo on each slice.
    Press the center of the bread slightly to make a shallow well.
  2. Add cheese:
    Sprinkle shredded cheese around the edges (creates a crispy, cheesy crust).
  3. Add the egg:
    Crack one egg into the center of each toast.
  4. Season:
    Sprinkle salt, pepper, and any preferred spices.
  5. Air fry:
    Place the toasts on parchment paper in the air fryer.
    Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 6–9 minutes, depending on how runny you want the yolk.
  6. Serve:
    Enjoy hot! Perfect with avocado, hot sauce, or a sprinkle of herbs.

Tips

For firmer yolks: cook 1–2 minutes longer.

Add cooked bacon bits or turkey slices for extra flavor.

Use thick bread for best results.
