Ingredients
1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
1 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended for extra crunch)
½ cup grated parmesan (optional but delicious)
2 eggs, beaten
½ cup flour
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp onion powder
Salt & pepper to taste
2–3 tbsp olive oil (for baking) or oil for frying
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
🔥 Instructions
Option 1: Oven-Baked (Healthier & Still Crispy)
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
- Set up 3 bowls:
Bowl 1: Flour + salt + pepper
Bowl 2: Beaten eggs
Bowl 3: Breadcrumbs + parmesan + garlic powder + paprika + onion powder
- Dip each cauliflower floret in flour → egg → breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange florets on the baking sheet and drizzle with a little olive oil.
- Bake 20–25 min, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Option 2: Air Fryer (Super Crispy)
- Set air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place coated cauliflower in a single layer.
- Air fry 12–15 minutes, shaking basket halfway.
Option 3: Pan-Fried (Ultra Crispy)
- Heat a layer of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add coated florets and fry until golden on all sides, about 6–8 minutes.
- Place on paper towels to remove excess oil.
