Ingredients
2 cups (500 ml) milk
3 tbsp cornstarch
4 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla extract

- Mix the base:
In a saucepan (off the heat), whisk together:
milk
cornstarch
sugar
Make sure there are no lumps.
- Cook the cream:
Place on medium heat and cook while stirring constantly.
In about 3–4 minutes, it will thicken into a smooth cream. - Finish the flavor:
Remove from heat and stir in:
butter
vanilla
Mix until silky and shiny.
- Pour & chill (optional):
Pour into cups or a large dish.
Smooth the top. - Cinnamon magic:
Generously sprinkle ground cinnamon on top — this gives the classic look and taste. - Serve warm or cold:
Warm = creamy pudding
Cold (after 1 hour in the fridge) = firmer, mousse-like texture
