Creamy Baked Oatmeal Recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups rolled oats

2 cups milk (any type — dairy, almond, oat, etc.)

1 cup sweetened condensed milk (or substitute with ½ cup honey or maple syrup for a lighter version)

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp cinnamon (optional but adds great flavor)

A pinch of salt

¼ cup chopped nuts (optional — for crunch)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Set your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Mix the Dry Ingredients:
    In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Mix the Wet Ingredients:
    In another bowl, whisk together milk, condensed milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine:
    Pour the wet mixture over the oats (as shown in the top image). Stir gently until everything is evenly mixed.
  5. Add Nuts (Optional):
    Sprinkle nuts on top for extra crunch and flavor.
  6. Bake:
    Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 35–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and firm (like the second image).
  7. Cool and Serve:
    Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares. Serve warm or chilled.

Serving Ideas:

Top with yogurt, fresh fruit, or a drizzle of honey.

Enjoy as a breakfast, snack, or healthy dessert.
