Ingredients
1 can (400 g) sweetened condensed milk
4 large eggs
120 g (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
120 g (1 cup) all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
Optional: 2 tbsp milk (for a softer texture)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F). Grease and line a 20 cm (8-inch) round cake pan. - Mix Wet Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. - Combine Dry Ingredients
In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Don’t overmix! - Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. - Cool & Serve
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Serve warm or chilled — it’s delicious both ways!
Optional Glaze (for an extra treat)
Mix ½ cup sweetened condensed milk with 2 tbsp melted butter and drizzle over the warm cake.
