Cinnamon Swirl Apple Fritter Bread

Recipe:

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

½ cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 small apples, peeled and chopped

Cinnamon Swirl:

⅓ cup brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

Glaze (optional):

½ cup powdered sugar

1–2 tbsp milk or cream

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla, and milk; mix well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir in chopped apples.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Swirl gently with a knife.
  7. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool completely before drizzling with glaze.

Soft, moist, and full of cinnamon-apple flavor perfect with a cup of coffee or tea!
