BAKED POTATO RECIPE

Ingredients:

2 large potatoes (Russet or any starchy potato)

1–2 tbsp olive oil

Salt (coarse or flaky)

Black pepper

2 tbsp butter

Chopped chives or parsley

Optional: garlic powder, paprika, sour cream, cheese

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Potatoes

Wash and scrub the potatoes well.

Pat them dry and prick the skin with a fork 5–6 times.

Rub with olive oil and sprinkle generously with salt.

  1. Bake

Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).

Place potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking tray.

Bake 50–60 minutes, or until the skin is crisp and a knife slides in easily.

  1. Serve

Cut the potato open down the middle.

Fluff the inside with a fork.

Add butter, salt, pepper, and chopped chives.

Add any extras you like (sour cream, cheese, garlic).

Optional Air Fryer Method

Air fry at 200°C (390°F) for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway.
