Ingredients:
2 large eggs
2 slices of bread (whole grain or your favorite kind)
½ teaspoon olive oil or butter (optional, for toast)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Chopped chives (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat air fryer: Set your air fryer to 270°F (130°C) for about 2–3 minutes.
- Prepare ramekins: Lightly grease two small ramekins or bowls that fit in your air fryer.
- Add water: Pour about 3 tablespoons of hot water into each ramekin.
- Crack eggs: Carefully crack one egg into each ramekin.
- Cook: Place ramekins in the air fryer basket and cook for 8–10 minutes depending on how runny you want the yolk.
8 minutes → soft and runny yolk
10 minutes → slightly firmer yolk
- Toast the bread: While eggs cook, toast your bread slices and spread with a little butter or olive oil if desired.
- Assemble: Use a slotted spoon to gently lift each poached egg out of the ramekin and place on top of the toast.
- Finish: Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and chopped chives.
Tip: For an extra touch, drizzle with a little olive oil or top with avocado slices.
