These Tortilla Wraps with Ground Beef are a family favorite at our house

INGREDIENTS

4–6 large tortillas

400 g (1 lb) ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

2–3 garlic cloves, minced

1 bell pepper or green onions (chopped)

1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar

1 cup béchamel sauce or ½ cup cream (optional but makes them creamy)

Salt & pepper

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp oregano

1 tbsp tomato paste

Fresh parsley for topping

👩‍🍳 INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cook the Beef Filling
  2. Heat a pan with a little oil.
  3. Add onions and sauté until soft.
  4. Add garlic and ground beef. Cook until browned.
  5. Mix in paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, and tomato paste.
  6. Add chopped green onions or peppers.
  7. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  1. Assemble the Wraps
  2. Lay a tortilla flat.
  3. Spread a thin layer of béchamel or cream (optional).
  4. Add a generous layer of the cooked beef.
  5. Sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Roll tightly like a log.
  1. Bake
  2. Place rolls seam-side down in a baking dish.
  3. Spread a little more béchamel or cream on top.
  4. Add extra cheese.
  5. Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
