Ingredients (6–8 flatbreads)
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup warm milk
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp dry yeast
2 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter
Butter for brushing (lots for that golden shine!)

- Activate yeast:
In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes until foamy. - Make the dough:
Add flour, salt, and oil/butter. Mix and knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and soft. - Rest the dough:
Cover and let rise for 1 hour until doubled. - Shape:
Divide the dough into 6–8 balls. Roll each one into a thin circle (or keep thicker for extra fluffiness). - Cook:
Heat a skillet on medium. Cook each flatbread 1–2 minutes per side until golden spots appear. - Butter it up:
Immediately brush each hot flatbread generously with melted butter.

For extra softness, cover the cooked flatbreads with a clean towel.
You can add garlic butter or cheese inside for a richer version.
