Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
300 g (10 oz) ground beef
1 cup tomato sauce (or marinara)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
6 no-boil lasagna noodles (or use broken regular noodles)
1 cup ricotta or cottage cheese
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp grated Parmesan
👩🍳 Instructions
- Cook beef:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic; sauté 1 minute. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. - Add sauce:
Pour in tomato sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer 2–3 minutes. - Add noodles:
Break the lasagna noodles into pieces and place them right into the pan. Add a splash of water (about ¼ cup) so the noodles soften quickly. - Add cheese layers:
Drop spoonfuls of ricotta (or cottage cheese) over the top. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan evenly. - Cover and cook:
Cover the skillet with a lid and cook on low heat for 5 minutes, until the cheese melts and the noodles are tender. - Serve:
Let it rest 2 minutes, then scoop into portions — creamy, cheesy, and ready to enjoy!
💡 Tips
For extra flavor, add a few spinach leaves or chopped basil.
Use pre-cooked frozen beef or sauce to make it even faster.
You can microwave individual portions for 2–3 minutes if using leftover noodles and sauce.
