Caramel Pecan Chocolate Dessert

Crust Layer

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)

Caramel Layer

  • 1 package (14 oz) caramels, unwrapped
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

Topping

  • 2 cups chocolate chips or chopped chocolate bars
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped

🎯 Instructions

  1. Preheat and prep
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch pan.
  2. Crust magic
    Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, and softened butter until crumbly.
    Press 2/3 of the mixture into the baking dish.
    Bake 10 minutes.
  3. Caramel lullaby
    In a saucepan, melt caramels, condensed milk, and 1/2 cup butter over low heat, stirring until smooth and dreamy.

    Pour caramel evenly over the warm crust.
    Sprinkle half the pecans.
