Baked Parmesan Potato Fries

✅ Ingredients

4 medium potatoes (Russet or any starchy type)

2 to 3 tbsp olive oil

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for a bit of intrigue)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Optional finishing magic: chopped parsley, extra Parmesan, or a lemony dip!

🔥 Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper so your fries don’t cling like needy relatives at a family reunion.
  2. Peel and slice potatoes into fry shapes. Not too thick, not too thin. Goldilocks them.
  3. Soak the fries in cold water for 20 minutes (removes extra starch for extra crispiness). Drain and pat dry like they’re going to a fancy event.
  4. Season party!
Toss fries with olive oil, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Make sure each fry gets coated in cheesy love.
  5. Single-layer magic.
Spread them on the baking sheet without overlapping. Give them space to shine.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes. Flip. Bake another 10 to 15 minutes or until golden, crisp, and irresistible.
  7. Optional: Sprinkle extra Parmesan and parsley while they’re still warm (cue heavenly aroma).

🍽 Serving Suggestions

Dip them in garlic mayo, ketchup, spicy sauce, or a tangy yogurt dip.

Serve beside grilled chicken, burgers, or eat them proudly as the main character.
