Ingredients

1 can (400 ml) sweetened condensed milk

1 can (400 ml) evaporated milk

1 cup crushed pineapple (with juice)

3 tablespoons cornstarch

🥣 Instructions

  1. Blend the mixture:
In a blender, combine condensed milk, evaporated milk, and crushed pineapple (including juice). Blend until smooth.
  2. Thicken the mixture:
Pour the blended mixture into a saucepan. Add the cornstarch and stir well until dissolved.
  3. Cook over medium heat:
Cook while stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and starts to bubble gently. This should take about 7–10 minutes.
  4. Cool and chill:
Pour the thickened mixture into a large bowl or serving dish. Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or until firm and creamy).
  5. Serve:
Scoop and enjoy cold! You can top it with extra pineapple bits or grated coconut if you like.

🌟 Tips

For a lighter texture, fold in whipped cream before chilling.

You can substitute the evaporated milk with full cream milk for a milder flavor.

This dessert keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
