**Instructions:**

**1. Make the Tart Shells:**
– Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 12-cup mini tart pan.

– In a large bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and coffee liqueur (if using) until smooth and creamy.

– Dip the ladyfinger pieces into the cooled coffee and place them at the bottom of each tartlet shell.
– Spoon or pipe the mascarpone filling over the ladyfingers, smoothing the tops.

**4. Chill and Garnish:**
– Refrigerate the tartlets for at least 2 hours to set.
– Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with dark chocolate shavings.

– **Non-Alcoholic Version:** Skip the coffee liqueur and use extra brewed coffee for dipping the ladyfingers.
– **Make Ahead:** Prepare the tart shells and filling a day in advance. Assemble just before serving.
– **Chocolate Lovers:** Add a layer of melted chocolate at the bottom of the tart shells before adding the ladyfingers.
– **Gluten-Free Option:** Use gluten-free ladyfingers and flour for the tart shells.
